  • ANA Enterprise Research Symposium. The ANA Enterprise Research Symposium is an annual event that brings together nurses, researchers, educators, and healthcare leaders to share and discuss nurse-led research that advances the profession. Held as a pre-conference to the ANCC National Magnet Conference® and Pathway to Excellence Conference®, the symposium highlights innovative approaches in nursing research through podium and poster presentations, panel discussions, and keynote speakers. This full-day event fosters collaboration and knowledge-sharing, with a focus on elevating nursing through cutting-edge research and innovation. LEARN MORE

  • American Nurses Foundation Funding. The Foundation will issue targeted calls for proposals and commissioned research grants throughout the year, focusing on fewer but larger grants aligned with the ANA Enterprise strategic plan and core interests. LEARN MORE

  • Sigma/American Nurses Credentialing Center EBP Implementation Grant. The Sigma/American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Evidence-Based Practice Implementation Grant supports nurses in clinical settings by encouraging them to apply evidence-based practices and evaluate their impact on patient outcomes. This grant empowers nurses to bridge the gap between research and practice, ultimately improving healthcare delivery and patient care. LEARN MORE

  • Multi-Site Research Playbook. This document introduces the value of multi-site studies in advancing nursing research by increasing the rigor and generalizability of findings, addressing limitations often seen in smaller, single-site studies. By leveraging Magnet®-recognized and research-engaged organizations, multi-site studies expand research designs, engage staff, and build research capacity across settings. Since 2010, the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the ANA Enterprise Research Council have facilitated these studies to enhance research capabilities and support Magnet Recognition Program® criteria. This playbook offers practical guidance for hospital researchers, nurse administrators, and academic partners to explore and develop multi-site research projects. LEARN MORE

  • Recommended Course: Implementation: The Linchpin of EBP Changes. Evidence-based practice (EBP) is a familiar concept to most nurses, as they are expected to deliver safe, high-quality care using the best available evidence. Nursing education programs prepare graduates with a foundation in EBP to support informed decision-making in patient care. However, many nurses still encounter challenges when initiating and sustaining EBP changes. This course will explore EBP implementation models, provide key resources for selecting effective strategies, and offer a case study demonstrating the successful integration of evidence into practice.
