We believe nurses are creative and have life changing stories that have and will continue to change the world. This course is designed to highlight the creative in nursing, while providing valuable insights that will build creative capacity. It covers the important aspects of creativity and building creative thinking skills and mindsets:

• 5 reasons creative thinking strengthen the nursing profession

• Through reflection, RNs will acquire the knowledge needed to leverage creativity and critical thinking skills and mindsets to change their practice.

Presented By

Karen Tilstra, PhD
Karen holds a PhD in Innovation and Leadership and is a licensed educational psychologist. Over the past five years, Karen has co-founded several innovation labs, including the award-winning Florida Hospital Innovation Lab (FHIL) in Orlando as well as the Orlando Magic Innovation Lab. She is currently helping Pioneers International develop an innovation program. She has designed & facilitated over three hundred design thinking projects, which includes work with multiple top Fortune 500 companies. She has taught design thinking at the university level as well as presented her vast knowledge of the subject to both national and international audiences.
